PDQ Tool & Stamping Co.’s Quality Management System is IATF 16949:2016 Certified. Our Mission Statement dictates we comply and continuously improve the effectiveness of our Quality System. The recent purchase of a Mitutoyo Quick Vision System and MTS Tensile Tester compliment our existing equipment further enhancing our Mission Statement.
All levels of manufacturing are verified and recorded via the Process Monitor and Control Log. This log is created for each part by utilizing APQP data, PMFEA data, customer-supplied data including: major, minor, critical, KPC, SPC, and geometric tolerance dimensions. Each attribute or dimension on the Process Monitor and Control Log has a specific inspection frequency to ensure the part conforms to the customers requirements. All but the most complex dimensions are completed at the machine work cell using a calibrated gauges, fixtures and surface plates.
Every step of the manufacturing process is fully documented and traceable. Detailed procedures exist for process tasks at PDQ. After inspection the product is tagged using a Material Control Tag 409-11 that identifies the status of material. This procedure enhances lot traceability and facilitates proper identification of product. Detailed and precise work procedures compliment our training programs and provide the foundation for a robust Quality System.
